Thank you for the opportunity to give a little information about Eagle Tax Services and myself.  I received by B.S. degree and teacher certification in mathematics and biology from Campbellsville University in Kentucky.  I taught school for a few years and moved to Massachusetts in 1984 to take a position with Raytheon Company.  Since that time I have held various positions with Raytheon and other New England companies.  Included are positions as Quality Engineer, Purchasing Manager, Manufacturing Project Manager, and Sales Representative.

I started preparing tax returns for friends and relatives in 1998.  As the number of tax returns increased, I formed Eagle Tax Services in 2000.  I worked out of my home nights and weekends.  New clients were mainly referred by existing clients.  In 2006 I decided to work full time at promoting Eagle Tax Services and tax preparation.  I moved into the Blackstone Valley Business Center in Whitinsville, MA early in 2007.  The BVBC offer a perfect setting to meet with clients.  Currently, I focus on individual tax returns and tax preparation for sole proprietor business.  Having completed tax courses given by the “big guys”, I felt I could offer the preparation of tax returns at a “reasonable” cost.

Also, I am the proud grandparent of triplet boys!

Michelle Fontaine - Hi! I’d like to introduce myself to you. I earned my MBA in 2002 at Assumption College, concentrating on Marketing Communications, Web and Internet. Along with the formal education, I’ve been able to combine a decade of experience building websites for the corporate world with my love of photography and natural desire to ‘do my own thing’. In November of 2006 I launched M Fontaine Productions (MFP). One of the creative services offered through MFP is assisting photographers with developing their own websites to enhance and market their photography. The BV Business Center offers me a perfect setting for ongoing photography-related courses. 

I enjoy portraiture, event and fine art photography and compete regularly at the two local photography clubs I belong to as well as at the regional level and international level. I’m also a program contributor for camera clubs and other organizations, official photographer for the Blackstone Valley National Corridor Commission, and the virtual tour photographer for MLS properties in Worcester County.  For more on MFP, click on over to www.mfontainephotography.com or www.mfontaineproductions.com .

Evelyn Marshall Flavin, Esquire -  I am the Principal of a small-specialized law firm located on Route 122 in Paxton, Massachusetts.  I obtained my Bachelors of Science Degree in the field of Computer Science from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Worcester, Massachusetts.  I obtained my Law Degree from Suffolk University Law School, Boston, Massachusetts.  My law firm is a general practice firm specializing in Commercial and Residential Real Estate, Estate Planning, Probate and Business Law (including Patent, Trademark and Copyright).

My affiliation with the Blackstone Valley Business Center provides an alternate and convenient meeting place for clients doing business and living in Blackstone Valley as well as the surrounding area. 

Craig Milner -  Craig Milner specializes in marketing communications consulting and services for small to medium-sized businesses. With more than 30 years’ experience on both the agency and company sides, he’s ready and willing to help organizations in the Valley communicate effectively about their companies, products, and services.

The Blackstone Valley Business Center is also his home base for teaching marketing communications classes, seminars, and workshops that help you understand and make the most of the communications tools at your disposal – from your website to public relations to advertising. These classes are informal, fun, and very practical.

Prior to founding Craig Milner Design, he was a senior executive with Boston-area advertising and public relations agencies. An avid canoeist and sailor, Craig is also the author of numerous trade, technical, and marine-related articles. His first book – “Ralph Stanley: Tales of a Maine Boatbuilder” – was published in 2004 and is now in its third printing. (Autographed copies are still available!) And he and Ralph are currently at work on a history of Mount Desert Island, Maine. A native of Worcester, Craig attended WPI before transferring to Brown University in Providence, where he received his BA degree in political science. He also holds a certificate in graphic design from Clark University in Worcester.

Sara Sobkowiak - SS Website Design Services - Since starting my company, I've enjoyed working with small to medium-sized businesses, educating clients on the importance of having a presence on the web.  Besides building websites, my background is in technology education, graphic design and system analysis -- all of which contribute to successfully meeting the needs of my clients.  I'm able to guide them on what type of content is relevant for their site and technically assist them through those final steps. It's very exciting to watch as a client's ideas, interests, and goals move from concept to completion!
